Alison Kendall, AICP, is a bicycle and pedestrian planner and architect who specializes in campus facility planning and master planning to improve bicycle and pedestrian safety.

As principal of her firm, Kendall Planning + Design, she coordinated a broad outreach process to produce the Campus Bicycle Master Plan for the University of Southern California to address pedestrian and bicycle safety issues on a dense campus in downtown Los Angeles. She has worked on campus plans for UC Berkeley, San Diego State University, and other school campuses. She has also worked on streetscape and transit oriented development plans for many California cities to better accommodate pedestrians, bicyclists and transit users as well as autos, buses and trucks. She teaches a bicycle and pedestrian planning studio course at USC and recently provided a highly attended Bikes on Campus webinar.
