Help First-Year Students Transition to Sophomore Year with Success
As institutions continue to struggle with enrollment, developing programs that help maintain stable or positive growth in persistence and retention rates is critical.
Join us on February 26, 2025 when our expert presenters will discuss the Getting to Year 2 @ CSU program, a semester-long initiative with events designed to support first-year students as they transition into their second year. The program is designed to help students face the many new challenges and experiences that come with the transition from their first to second year, including exploring off-campus housing, managing a budget and feeding themselves without a meal plan, looking for ways to find community, and getting more in depth in their major.
Help your first year students overcome their anxiety and uneasiness with the unknown, and garner excitement for the new challenges and accomplishments ahead.
