Adriana Jackeline Galindo currently serves as a Regional Coordinator for the HSI EXCELlence Program, currently overseeing three Hispanic Serving Institutions.

In her current role at the Maricopa County Community College District, in partnership with the Helios Education Foundation, she works to develop culturally responsive programming geared towards the recruitment and retention of Latinx students. Adriana is a first-generation college graduate, having earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Science in Leadership from Grand Canyon University.

Since 2015, Adriana has developed and created opportunities to guide students and their family/support system as they persist in the completion of their degrees. Being born in Sonora, Mexico, her experience as a first-generation student served as a catalyst for the various roles she has held within Student Affairs and fueled an unwavering commitment to empowering Hispanic students and fostering a supportive community districtwide. Driven by her personal experience and professional expertise, Adriana is passionate about combining family-centric approaches and educational best practices to guide and support Latinx students and their families as they break generational barriers and achieve academic success.
