Presenter Bio - Alice Jones

Alice Jones is currently serving as the Associate Director for the Office of Institutional Equity at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. 

Alice has worked in higher education as a consultant, trainer/facilitator, and full-time employee on campus for the last 10 years.  She has served as a trainer/consultant for institutions building out their Title IX Due Process procedures and preparing hearing panel members and leaders. 

Additionally, Alice has worked as a national trainer and consultant in areas of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion including many trainings and projects with the NCAA National Office and the NCAA Office for Equity.  Alice was a keynote speaker at the 2016 NCAA Inclusion Forum.  Alice has a unique blend of expertise in diversity/inclusion and its intersection with issues related to Title IX and student conduct. 

Alice has written multiple training courses on topics including Title IX compliance, Mitigating Bias in Investigations, Intergroup Dialogue, and recruitment and retention initiatives for both student and employees from marginalized and minoritized backgrounds. Alice holds a Master of Arts in Public Relations Management with a concentration on Public Relations in Sports.
