PresenterPhotoDr. Craig Chesson serves as the Associate Dean of Students at Colorado State University.

Dr. Chesson has 30 years of higher education experience primarily in administration. He works directly with campus crisis management and response initiatives, behavior intervention teams, and the Consultation for Incidents of Bias Team. Dr. Chesson is instrumental in bringing best practices to the university relating to emergency situations relating to students. Dr. Chesson is a member of the Student Death Response Team that implements existing protocols and procedures that support grieving communities.

Dr. Chesson has taught in the Student Affairs in Higher Education program at Colorado State University, as well as facilitated various trainings related to crisis management and safety procedures.

To create balance in his life, Dr. Chesson enjoys playing percussion, listening to music, cooking, fishing, and watching sports. He also believes humor builds your soul and is a remedy to get through difficult times.
