Daniel J. Kaczmarek is the Director of Student Life Assessment and Research at the University at Buffalo, where he leads division-wide assessment, evaluation, and planning initiatives that advance co-curricular learning and enhance the student experience.

Daniel’s work focuses on building meaningful, human-centered practices that help practitioners translate data into actionable insights. An educator and writer, Daniel has taught writing, rhetoric, and program evaluation and has consulted in the EdTech industry.

He holds an M.F. A. in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is currently studying Creative and Change Leadership at Buffalo State University, extending his work at the intersection of innovation and organizational effectiveness.
