David Westol is currently the Principal and Owner of Limberlost Consulting, Inc. in Carmel, Indiana.

David received his BA from Michigan State in Journalism and his JD from The Detroit College of Law.   He served as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Michigan for nine years and tried over 55 felony cases before juries.  In addition, he was Chief Executive Officer of Theta Chi Fraternity for 18 years.  In that time, he addressed the issue of fraternity hazing head on, presented at countless conventions, regional and national conferences and has become one of the most sought-after speakers on the topic of hazing.  He founded Limberlost Consulting in 2007 and works with over 40 national men’s and women’s fraternities and sororities in a variety of capacities.  His consulting includes membership reviews- participated in or led 150+ - and over 240 hazing investigations. David has provided policy interpretation for FIPG since 1995.  He is a frequent speaker at major regional conferences such as AFLV, NGLA and the Fraternal Law Annual Conference. He has presented on over 575 campuses in the U.S. and Canada and served as an expert witness in over 20 cases involving national fraternities and sororities.  In his spare time, he is a football official and has been officiating for the past 32 years.
