Dr. Cathy Briggs currently serves as the Dean of Student Success at Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC). 

She is a strategic leader in higher education, working to lead change in services to students in all service areas. She has specific experience supervising and leading staff in Academic Advising, Tutoring, Testing, Student Support, Accommodations, Student Wellness, Conduct, Student Life, Orientation, and Commencement. She also currently leads the coordination of multiple retention-based initiatives as the Title III Grant Program Director. In her current role, she leads a team of more than 40 staff members within student services departments. Dr. Briggs also serves as the College’s Title IX Coordinator.

Dr. Briggs has worked for over twenty years with a focus on creating a student-focused environment, emphasizing personalized connections. She has significant experience as a leader and innovator within higher education. She has built successful programs in student services, residence life, student life, and orientation programs at both two year and four institutions. She earned her Masters of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Rowan University, NJ. She completed her Doctorate in Education from Wilmington University in Organizational Leadership and Innovation. She is the proud mom of two daughters, one in high school and one in college. She enjoys reading, hanging out with her family, binge watching shows that her kids and friends recommend, and completing puzzles with the family.
