Dr. Christopher Conzen currently serves as the Executive Director of the Secaucus Center & Early College Programs at Hudson County Community College.

Dr. Conzen has been a Higher Education professional for just over 20 years, working in a variety of institutional types.  His most significant professional experience has been at the community college level, most recently working at Hudson County Community College in Northern New Jersey since May 2019.  While he began his tenure at HCCC responsible for a satellite location for the college, his role expanded to encompass the college’s Early College program.  As the Executive Director, he and his team have seen over 500 students per semester earn college credits and, since 2020, 100 students have earned a full Associate Degree upon high school graduation.  Currently, there are almost 300 high school students at districts around the county working towards an Associate Degree, and the partnerships continue to expand.  Dr. Conzen also started the first unofficial statewide group of dual enrollment professionals at other New Jersey community colleges, who have met regularly since January 2022 to share best practices and resources.

Dr. Conzen earned an M.Ed in College Student Personnel from the University of Maryland College Park and Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
