Presenter Bio - Dr. Jared Brown

Dr. Jared Brown currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs – Assessment and Instruction at Montgomery County Community College. As a leader in academic innovation, he integrates AI-focused curriculum and literacy into his coursework and helps to shape his institutions AI policies, assessment, and literacy.

Dr. Brown is a native of Pennsylvania, born and raised in Bellefonte.  He attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, earning his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication studies.  He attained his doctorate degree in Higher Education Leadership from Wilmington University in Delaware.

With over 20 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Brown has held key roles at Penn State and West Chester Universities. In addition to his Assistant Dean role, he serves as a Senior Adjunct Professor at Delaware County Community College, specializing in interpersonal communication and public speaking, and teaches in the Master of Higher Education program at Wilmington University.
