Dr. Lyn Redington currently serves as the Vice President for Student Affairs at Ohio University.

In this role, she provides leadership for more than 150 professional staff, 2000 student employees, and 40 graduate assistance who work every day to help students succeed.  Dr. Redington has previously performed in multiple roles in higher education spanning over 30 years.

Throughout her career, she has remained committed to actively and collaboratively advancing academic excellence, student achievement, and success after graduation.  In her past roles, she oversaw student affairs, academic advising, TRIO, equity and inclusion, and enrollment management.  Lyn is an active presenter and trainer on topics of student success, leadership, transition, change management, cross-functional partnership, and parents and families.  She has served as an adjunct assistant profession, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in student affairs.

She has also led and served on presidential commissions dedicated to diversity, equity, inclusion, free speech, and academic freedom.  She has served as an adjunct assistant profession, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in diversity, leadership, ethics, organizational governance, and various disciplines in student affairs in higher education.

Dr. Redington is a three-time graduate of Iowa State University.
