Presenter Bio - Jamie Gaskill

Jamie Gaskill is an active transportation and transportation demand management professional with more than 20 years of experience developing programs, educating communities, influencing behavior, and building partnerships that support sustainable transportation. Jamie currently works in Active Transportation at Colorado State University (CSU), where she develops and leads campus programs addressing bicycling, micromobility, transportation demand management, and behavior change. She also serves as a Coach with the League of American Bicyclists and works as an independent consultant.

Throughout her career, Jamie has worked across higher education, local government, utilities, public health, and outdoor retail, giving her a broad perspective on how institutions can design and implement programs that change transportation behavior. She led the development of the Bicycle Friendly Driver program, a nationally recognized initiative that has helped reshape how bicycle-related safety education is delivered.

Her recent work includes developing and implementing campus bicycle and micromobility management strategies addressing registration, parking, theft reduction, abandoned devices, safety, education, enforcement, and cross-departmental coordination.

Jamie brings both strategic and hands-on implementation experience to her work, including program development, education and outreach, stakeholder engagement, staff and volunteer management, and behavior-change initiatives. She holds both a bachelor's and master's degree from Colorado State University.
