Presenter Bio - John Henderson

John Henderson serves as Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Parent and Family Programs at Colorado State University (CSU).  

John serves as the Associate Dean of Students at Colorado State University (CSU) and has worked on several different campuses over the past 17 years in Fraternity & Sorority Life, Student Involvement, Residence Life, and Parent and Family Programs.  John has served as a member of the CSU Student Death Response Team for nine years. 

John earned his Ph.D. in Education from the University of Colorado Boulder, received his Master’s in Multicultural Education from the University of New Mexico, and bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis. 

Away from work, John tries to keep up with two young children (who know the people he works with but not what he really does) and enjoys outdoor adventure, serving on the PTA, and science fiction novels. He believes the 49ers are better than Craig’s favorite team, the Steelers – at least for now.   And, that Jody could care less.
