Presenter Bio - Justin Stoeckle
Justin Stoeckle currently serves at the Associate Director of Health Promotion at the University of Denver specializing in wellness, prevention, and men’s well-being.
He is a student affairs professional with over a decade of experience in higher education, specializing in wellness, prevention, and men’s well-being. He leads campus-wide efforts focusing on supporting students’ well-being, harm reduction, and expansive masculinities.
His work centers on helping men and masculine-identified students develop a sense of authenticity that breaks out of the traditionally masculine norms that they have been boxed into. He designs and facilitates programs that encourage vulnerability, emotional expression, and authentic connection. His commitment to reimagining masculinity in an expansive and more holistic way has made him a thought partner for institutions seeking to better support men’s mental health and identity development.
Before joining Denver University, he held professional roles in residential life, new student orientation, and student activities. He holds a Master of Education in Student Development Administration from Seattle University. He is currently working towards his Doctorate in Education from the University of Denver. His research will focus on policies that impact men’s enrollment and retention at institutions of higher education.
