Presenter Bio - Karen Dahlstrom

Karen Dahlstrom currently serves as the Executive Director of Admissions at Augustana College.

Karen has worked in college admissions for 15 years, serving both a private four-year college and a community college. In her current role, Karen leads the admissions team and works closely with the Office of Communication & Marketing in planning and executing a multi-channel comprehensive recruitment strategy.

Always up for a new challenge, Karen has led many projects during her time at Augustana. She has launched new visit programs, supervised student ambassadors, coordinated honors program recruitment, collaborated on transition activities for new students, led partnerships with key vendors, and more. As a leader, she is committed to fostering engagement and collaboration on her team. Her true passion is nurturing relationships with prospective students and families, and specifically finding ways to make meaningful connections through thoughtful email campaigns and personalized outreach.
