Kayla Bueby, MSW, LMSW-Clinical, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Counseling and Psychological Services at University of Michigan-Flint.

Kayla currently serves as the Assistant Director for the Counseling and Psychological Services office at the University of Michigan-Flint and as an Associate Trainer with the Fostering Success Coaching Institute, providing nationwide trainings to higher education professionals about how to leverage the Fostering Success Coaching model to best support college students with lived experience in the foster care system. Prior to her current position, she served as the Life Skills Coach and Program Manager for UM-Flint’s Mpowering My Success program, a grant-funded program supporting students who have experienced foster care.

Kayla holds a Master of Social Work degree with an evidence-based trauma treatment certificate from Michigan State University, a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Saginaw Valley State University, and a Post Graduate Business Certificate from the University of Michigan-Flint.
