Presenter Bio - Kent Barnds

Kent serves as Executive Vice President for Strategy & Innovation and VP for Enrollment at Augustana College, where he has worked since 2005 and has served in capacities ranging from vice president of enrollment to acting president to executive vice president for external relations.

Kent serves on EAB’s Enrollment 360 Advisory Board and served on CASE’s Commission for Communications & Marketing from 2020-2023.

He has published articles in Inside Higher Ed, University Business Magazine, Denver Post and the Huffington Post, and has served as a higher education enrollment expert to local and national media such at The Chronicle of Higher Education, Washington Post, The Daily Beast, U.S. News and World Report and The Wall Street Journal.

He is a recognized and influential leader in enrollment management, retention and student recruitment.
