Presenter Bio - Kent Barnds

Kent serves as Executive Vice President for Strategy & Innovation and VP for Enrollment at Augustana College, where he has worked since 2005. He oversees the offices of admissions, financial assistance, communication and marketing, web services and WVIK--Augustana Public Radio.

He serves on EAB’s Enrollment 360 Advisory Board and served on CASE’s Commission for Communications & Marketing from 2020-2023. 

He has published articles in Inside Higher Ed, University Business Magazine, Denver Post and the Huffington Post, and has served as a higher education enrollment expert to local and national media such at The Chronicle of Higher Education, Washington Post, The Daily Beast, U.S. News and World Report and The Wall Street Journal. 

He is a recognized and influential leader in enrollment management, student recruitment and communications.
