PresenterPhotoKristo Gobin is currently a Professor in Communications Studies at Loyola Marymount University teaching Gender Communication, Intercultural Communication and Research Methods. Author and performer of That’s So Gay! The Play.

He is a first generation Croatian American and first-generation college student. He is the product of a California State University system where he majored in Communication Studies. When he was a graduate student at San Jose State University, he wrote and performed the first performance studies thesis ever. His thesis looked at Sex/Gender/Sexuality through a performance lens. He has traveled to over 40 Universities and performed his one person show over 100 times — including a special performance in his home country of Croatia for Zagreb Pride. He worked in Residential Life for 18 years and has transitioned to teaching at Loyola Marymount University and California State University – Northridge where he teaches Gender Communication, Intercultural Communication and Research Methods.
