Michael C. Sachs, MA, JD, CCEP, serves as the Interim Vice President for Administration and Accreditation at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, where he provides leadership for institutional accreditation, compliance, and key administrative areas, including facilities, human resources, Title IX, and university police.

With more than three decades of experience in higher education, Michael has held senior roles at institutions such as John Jay College of Criminal Justice, East Stroudsburg University, LIM College, and New York Institute of Technology. In these positions, he has overseen a broad portfolio of functions, including student affairs, enrollment management, assessment and institutional effectiveness, crisis management, study abroad, and compliance programs focused on Title IX, Clery, ADA/504, FERPA, and related regulations.

An educator and award-winning speaker, Michael is widely recognized for his expertise in direct assessment of student learning in student services, higher-education compliance, and health and safety in international education. He has delivered hundreds of workshops, keynotes, and webinars for campuses, professional associations, and national conferences. He serves as a peer evaluator for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. His scholarly and professional contributions include publications on assessment, disability law and housing, global student affairs practice, and higher-education compliance.

A licensed attorney in New York and a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, Michael holds a JD and BA from the University of Southern California, an MA in Higher Education Administration from Michigan State University, and is completing a Doctor of Public Administration at West Chester University.
