Presenter Bio - Sam Boren

Sam Boren serves as the Associate Director of Experiential Education within the Career Center at Colorado State University.

As the AD for Experiential Education, Sam is responsible for building capacity for internships both externally and internally on campus as well as the efforts to develop training and development sessions for on campus student staff and student staff supervisors. She previously served as an Employer Relations Manager in the Career Center at CSU where she worked with employers to find ways to help them recruit and brand amongst students. Prior to her time at CSU, she worked in Residence Education at Kansas State University where she also obtained an M.S. in Counseling and College Student Development. She is passionate about training and development and helping employer and campus partners engage in conversations related to diversity, equity and inclusion.
