Presenter Bio - Seth A. Tucker

Seth A. Tucker serves as the Director of Global Safety and Support at Syracuse University where he is responsible for developing policy and institutional practice in the areas of global safety, risk mitigation, and crisis management.

With over 25 years’ experience in both academic and student affairs administration, Seth has previously served as the Vice President for Campus Life and Safety at Onondaga Community College and as the Special Assistant to the Senior Vice President and Dean of Student Affairs and Director of Crisis Management at Syracuse University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and French from Presbyterian College and master’s degrees in international relations and public administration from Syracuse University. He is also a doctoral candidate in political science. He is married with two adult children, and enjoys golfing, reading, and distance running. He is also a certified Wilderness First Responder (WFR).
