Presenter Bio - T.J. Horan
TJ Horan is the Director of Student Life at Randolph-Macon College in Virginia.
T.J. Horan has served as the Director of Student Life at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, since 2022. In this role, he provides leadership for four areas within Student Life: student activities and events, student organization services, fraternity and sorority life, and service programs. Horan also played a central role in implementing and ensuring continued compliance with “Adam’s Law” at RMC, Virginia’s anti-hazing legislation requiring hazing prevention education, alcohol overdose training, and public reporting of institutional hazing violations. Furthermore, Horan holds a Hazing Prevention Advocate Certification through the Hazing Prevention Network and attended the 2023 Interdisciplinary Institute for Hazing Prevention.
Horan earned a B.A. in Political Science and History from James Madison University and an M.Ed. in Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education Administration from William & Mary. He is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity and an active professional in the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors.
