Debra Klokis currently serves as a Career Preparation Manager at Rowan College at Burlington County and has been instrumental in fostering career competencies within a community college setting.  In this role, she brings over 15 years of experience in higher education in both the four-year and two-year college setting. 

With a career marked by dedication and commitment, Debra has taken on key roles in the fields of career development and higher education.  Her previous experience as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Baratz & Associates, P.A. showcased her expertise in talent recruitment and relationship-building with both employees and candidates.

A significant portion of Debra’s career was dedicated to The College of New Jersey, where she held the position of Associate Director, liaising with the School of Business. Her responsibilities encompassed organizing career fairs, coordinating networking events, and providing career counseling to students and alumni.

Additionally, she worked at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia as a Career Counselor, where she facilitated workshops, mentored students, and provided invaluable guidance.

Debra earned a Master of Science in Counseling, College Student Personnel from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Moravian University.
