Tom Hardiman currently serves as the Director of Student Conduct at North Carolina State University. He is a frequent presenter at regional and national conferences, where he shares his passion on student conduct, policy and procedures and the entire conduct process from initial alleged violation notification through the appeal process.

Prior to that role, Tom served as the Associate Director in the Office of Student Conduct at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Tom received his Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and History with a minor in Leadership Studies from the University of Rhode Island, as well as a Master's of Arts in Counseling in Higher Education from the University of Delaware.

Prior to working in student conduct, Tom served in various roles within Residence Life, Orientation, Admissions, Outdoor Adventure, and Counseling. Tom's professional interests include student conduct legal theory, assessment, new professional development, and crisis management.
