Presenter Bio - Whitney Longnecker

Whitney Longnecker currently serves as the Health and Safety Manager at Texas A&M University located in College Station, Texas.

Whitney Longnecker is an international educator with 15 years of education abroad experience. She serves as the Education Abroad Health and Safety Manager at Texas A&M University. Whitney is passionate about traveler health and safety and risk management, and she presents nationally on these topics. Service to the profession is also important to Whitney, and she holds volunteer roles with NAFSA: Association of International Educators. Whitney’s education abroad journey began through her study abroad experiences in the UK and China. Whitney earned an M.A. in International Education from SIT Graduate Institute and was recently awarded a Fulbright International Education Administrators Award to Korea. Throughout her career, Whitney has served Central College, Semester at Sea, Penn State University, and Texas Tech University.
