Utilize Experiential Learning, Leverage Technology and Analyze Course Design Practices to Enhance Participation

Traditional teaching methods and the needs of the emerging student body can be in conflict. Online and hybrid high school learning experiences impacted many of today’s students’ “studentship” skills, leaving faculty members struggling to engage them in their classrooms. Faculty members often feel frustrated and demoralized by what they perceive to be a lack of interest from their students.

Join us on Thursday, February 13, 2025, as our presenter frames the problem and solutions based on research and data on students’ pre-college experiences. She will highlight specific assignment templates that can be modified to fit nearly any academic course or discipline and will offer proactive solutions for creating positive learning environments that promote student engagement.

Create more effective learning environments for ALL student learners by adopting and delivering information in varied formats, allowing for flexibility, and providing action-oriented feedback.  Increase your student engagement through fostering strong “studentship” and interpersonal skills.
