A Holistic, University-wide Approach to Address Basic Need Access & Improve Persistence

Many college students struggle to maintain access to basic needs such as food, housing, technology, and transportation at alarmingly high rates. The latest National Postsecondary Student Aid Study findings corroborate previous surveys that college students face higher rates of food and housing insecurity than the general population.

Join our expert presenter on Thursday, November 7, 2024, as she shares insight into this growing concern and creative solutions that involve the whole campus community in supporting financially vulnerable students. She will share methods to assess and address the current need on your campus, successful campus and system-wide initiatives to address the problem, wraparound approaches to student support, and strategies for identifying high risk populations.

Ensure your initiatives and programs provide opportunities and holistic support to students so they can thrive and persist to achieve their academic goals.
