In the past 50 years, colleges and universities have seen an 850% increase of Hispanic/Latino students, now comprising 19.6% of the collegiate student population.*  Campuses are struggling to keep up with providing bilingual staff and support. These students face unique challenges – especially if English isn’t the first language for them and their families. You must create strategic ways to make connections and to create touchpoints that reach them. In order to do so, you should have effective methods in place for engaging Spanish-speaking students and families.
