Practices that Engage & Persist Students
Higher education institutions are facing a growing challenge of how to effectively support and retain the increasing number of neurodivergent students attending college. These students, who learn and process information differently due to conditions like autism, ADHD, and dyslexia, often struggle in traditional academic settings. This can lead to feelings of frustration, anxiety, and isolation for students, while faculty may feel ill equipped and uncertain about how to best accommodate their diverse learning needs. Institutions may also struggle with challenges to adapt their existing systems and structures to create a truly inclusive environment for all learners.
On March 28, 2025, our expert presenter will help you and your staff increase the success of your students with neurodiversity through engagement and retention efforts that meet their unique academic and career needs.
Anyone on your campus who interacts with students on the spectrum will benefit from this webinar. Our expert presenter will discuss strategies for working with neurodiverse students by implementing universal design practices to optimize learning environments, understanding the clear expectations and communication these students benefit from, and offer individualized flexible accommodations.
