A Comprehensive Model To Help Students Overcome Obstacles & Persist

As Counseling Centers are hard pressed to meet the demands of today’s students’ mental health needs, teaching students resilience skills preemptively has become imperative. The Resilience-Informed Skills Education (RISE) program developed at Pepperdine provides the necessary coaching and support for students to persist on campus.

Gather your colleagues from across campus and join us on April 24, 2025, when our expert presenters will share how you can develop a resilience coaching program for your campus. They will walk you through how to recruit and train peer, faculty and staff resilience coaches to support an innovative and comprehensive resilience education program. They will provide data driven, practical, real-world solutions and approaches to teaching resilience skills to your students through their successful and comprehensive coaching program.

Explore creative ways you can incorporate resilience coaching into your institution’s mission to remove obstacles that stand in the way of your students embodying and living out their purposes. You’ll be able to adapt these practical approaches to student development to your specific campus’ needs and increase student satisfaction and completion rates.
