Students at Azusa Pacific University (CA) who are feeling anxious about school, relationships and life can take a two-week Anxiety Toolbox Workshop through the University Counseling Center. The group meets for an hour each week, practicing helpful tools to reduce anxiety such as grounding exercises, deep breathing and changing negative thoughts while also identifying ways students can improve their sleep and maintain daily emotional balance. Participants receive workbooks at the beginning of the workshop and walk away with personalized, written plans to better address anxiety in their own lives.
The workshop is facilitated by a therapist through the University Counseling Center. Other group sessions and workshops at Azusa Pacific include:
