North Carolina State University’s Howl and Chill series, sponsored by Wellness and Recreation, promotes self-care among students so they can “add some relaxation to their to-do lists.” Events are designed around six elements of wellness. Fall offerings include Glowga, which is a sundown yoga session using glow sticks, painting pots and planting succulents, and a Wellness Speakeasy open mic.

Past events have included Cultivating Self-Love, featuring affirmations on a big screen, painting canvas tote bags, music and chocolate cupcakes. Another event was a Trail Mixer where participants created customized trail mix before walking around Lake Raleigh.
