Penn State is working with national transportation experts on a Bicycle Master Plan to identify campus improvements. And students, faculty, staff and community members are being encouraged to participate in engagement events to share their biking experiences. Engagement stations where attendees can go through interactive activities and discuss their on-campus biking experiences will be available, in addition to small group bike rides to discuss cycling conditions/concerns, an online survey, an interactive map activity and more.

“The bicycle master plan is an impactful project that will guide the University’s bicycling planning efforts for years to come,” said Cecily Zhu, Penn State’s sustainable transportation program manager for Transportation Services. “The various in-person and online engagement activities available in the coming weeks offer an opportunity to help share the future of campus biking.”
