Michigan State University (MSU) will celebrate Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week April 1-5. Events throughout the week will include opportunities to thank a grad student, taking professional headshots and discussing career goals, pizza with the president, donuts with the dean, pretzels with the provost, tea with the graduate teaching assistant teaching and learning community, free bowling and snacks with the Council of Graduate Students, a crafts and connection project to make “Send a Smile” postcards and more.
“This week, the Graduate School is recognizing the contributions of graduate and professional students throughout the Michigan State University community,” wrote Pero G. Dagbovie, associate provost for graduate and postdoctoral studies, dean of the graduate school and university distinguished professor of history. “You have worked hard and overcome challenges. Your efforts deserve to be celebrated.”
