Beautiful campuses look that way thanks to creative, hard-working grounds crews. At the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, the Quality Workplace Committee has organized an employee tour with the school’s groundskeeper supervisor to take in that beauty. He will focus on sharing his landscaping vision for The Artist Village, a new residence hall.

The Committee offers Employee Tours “as a way for faculty and staff to learn more about the different arts schools, to see facilities or to visit different campus departments or buildings in which they do not work,” according to its website. It also sponsors other initiatives such as the “Dinner on Us!” meals for faculty and staff who email their daily COVID-19 self-screenings and are randomly chosen each month.
