Educate, Investigate & Adjudicate Academic Policy Violations
Institutions across the country are grappling with the need to balance academic integrity and emerging technologies powered by artificial intelligence (AI). Fears remain about AI’s impact on undetected and unchallenged cheating and that it undermines the academic integrity of an institution. Opportunities to engage in academic misconduct are readily available to those students seeking to cheat, and students who utilize AI may find themselves in academically precarious situations and unwittingly violating their institution’s academic honor code.
Join us on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, when our expert presenters will share a commonsense approach of how faculty and staff can integrate AI in the classroom and successfully respond to alleged cheating; how conduct officers can effectively investigate and adjudicate alleged honor code violations involving AI; and the academic integrity policies that are most important for inclusion in academic catalogs and syllabi.
Identify ways to best educate, hold accountable, and ensure students are upholding the institution’s academic standards and mission so you can preserve the integrity of a degree from your institution.
