Strategies for Managing E-Bikes, E-Scooters, Safety, Policy, Infrastructure & Liability
Micromobility is changing how students, faculty, and staff move around campus but many institutions are struggling to keep policies, infrastructure, safety practices, and operations up to speed. Bicycles, e-bikes, e-scooters, and other devices can support affordable, sustainable transportation, yet they also create new challenges involving parking and storage, theft, abandoned devices, charging and battery safety, accessibility, enforcement and institutional liability.
Rather than treating micromobility as a collection of problems to manage, campuses have an opportunity to make it a purposeful part of their overall transportation system. Join us on December 14, 2026, when our expert presenter will provide a practical, systems-level approach to developing micromobility programs that are safer, more equitable, sustainable and responsive to campus needs.
Using real-world examples and lessons learned from a variety of campus environments, this online training will explore how education, infrastructure, policy, enforcement, stakeholder engagement, cross-departmental collaboration, and data can work together to create more effective micromobility strategies. You will gain practical approaches for identifying gaps in your current systems, addressing emerging challenges and building flexible programs that can adapt as micromobility continues to evolve.
