Navigate the New Regulations & Avoid Costly Mistakes
The U.S. Department of Education has proposed new and revised regulations relating to online and distance education that would be very concerning and costly to faculty, students and institutions as written. The final regulations will be released prior to November 1st, allowing for the presenters to review and analyze them so that they can provide their insight into the impact they will have on your institution and how you can respond accordingly.
Gather your faculty, staff, and administrators involved in online and distance education and join us on November 14, 2024, when our expert presenters will highlight how these regulatory changes are most impactful to institutions offering online programs and the increased risk and associated administrative burden involved when determining internal processes for compliance with the new regulations. They will clarify “online education” – the technology used, the modality, the level of interaction between student and instructor and the established ED set of definitions and associated terms.
Increase your institution’s awareness of the recent federal policy changes; gain a greater understanding of the complicated regulatory framework that applies to online and distance learning;, and prepare for their impact to your programs to avoid uncertainty and compliance blunders. Work through the policies and procedures that will need to be addressed internally to incorporate the new regulations and keep your campus programs compliant.
