Reduce Risk & Build Healthier Organizational Culture
Student organization misconduct is rarely just about one incident. When underlying organizational norms, leadership practices, and traditions go unexamined, the same problems can resurface year after year. Institutions need an approach to accountability that goes beyond individual consequences to address the organizational culture driving behavior, turning misconduct into an opportunity for lasting change.
Join us on January 28, 2027, as our seasoned presenter shares a practical framework for determining organizational responsibility, coordinating campus partners, and guiding student organizations toward meaningful improvement. Learn how to move beyond reactive conduct responses to strengthen leadership, reduce repeat misconduct, and build healthier organizational cultures. By connecting student conduct, organizational advising, and leadership development, this session will help you address not only what happened, but why it happened and what must change.
Explore strategies for setting clearer expectations, promoting consistent processes, and achieving outcomes that reinforce institutional standards while preserving student autonomy, belonging and engagement. Discover how to transform organizational accountability from a disciplinary obligation into a powerful opportunity to develop student leaders; strengthen organizational culture; and foster a safer, healthier campus community.
