Increase Student Awareness & Usage
In a recent survey, published in the Driving Towards a Degree Research series, 35% of students report a lack of awareness of critical support services. Additionally, survey results from 2023 indicated that 60% of college students were unaware of the full scope of services available at their institution. Survey outcomes indicate that staff have a strong working knowledge of resources, but a misconception about how well students understand or know about the resources.
Join us on February 25, 2025 when our presenter will explore the evolving, complex landscape of student support. She will provide examples of the programs at colleges and universities that are showing progress through multiple promising practices.
Gain an increased awareness of the range of student support services across varying types of institutions and the methods utilized to analyze student needs and barriers to success, including strategies for addressing barriers, the impact of nudging techniques to increase student awareness and engagement, and sample communication templates that can be customized for your student population. Being able to manage the increased need – and overcome the barriers to student utilization – is critical for student retention and completion.
