Confidently Navigate Policies & Practices
The U.S. is re-entering an exceptionally hostile climate of anti-immigrant discourse and policies. Under the incoming administration, policies and programs that provide some protections to immigrant students who are undocumented, such as DACA and Temporary Protected Status (TPS) are in danger of being stripped away. This is leading to fears about the rights, resources, and opportunities of prospective and current undocumented students.
Join us on February 7, 2025, when our expert presenters will provide best practices and recommendations to support immigrant students under the new administration, as they impact students’ ability to remain in the U.S. and study with the long-term goal of attaining employment in a specific field. There will also be an overview of college-level policies from admissions to advising to professional certification that all higher educational institutions should consider, ensuring the education of immigrant students is supported from start to finish.
This webinar will offer the most up-to-date information about the incoming administration as it relates to immigrant college students and the pivotal role you play. Given the early February timing, the presenters will be able to not only discuss potential threats, but also the changes in discourse, programs and policies that will already be implemented or in progress.
