Just in time for the end of the semester, Illinois State University is hosting a “Night Against Procrastination” group study night to help students prepare for their final exams. It’ll take place in the campus library from 7 pm to midnight, featuring 30-minute study sessions, social media challenges, academic support resources, giveaways, themed breaks, nostalgic entertainment, cookies and coffee, and more. The event is open to first and second year undergrads.
The event is based on the Pomodoro technique, where students study for 30-40 minutes and then take intentional breaks. It’s a collaborative effort let by CAST Connections with the Julia N. Visor Academic Center, Health Promotion and Wellness, and the Milner Library. Additional collaborators are welcome.
