The Wright State University Police Department (OH) has made No-Shave November a tradition as they raise funds to restock the campus Raider Food Pantry for the holidays. In the past three years, the department has donated close to $5,000 in groceries to the pantry. This year, three officers had their heads shaved to raise extra funds, resulting in close to $1,600 worth of non perishable goods stocking the shelves. “This year we had the entire department involved,” director of public safety Kurt Holden told the Wright State University Newsroom. “Answering the need in our community is what we do.”

“I’m overcome with gratitude right now,” said Destinee Biesemeyer, director of Student Advocacy and Wellness. “We are very lucky to have these officers and they’re always going above and beyond for us.”
