‘Tis the season on college campuses for the delicate dance between holiday celebrations and prepping students for final exams. At Iowa State, they host a series of WinterFest events to do just that. Events include chair massages, the Jingle & Mingle Holiday Market, a Holiday Art Mart, the Jingle Jog 3K, horse-drawn carriage rides, Yeti paintings, a gingerbread house competition and more.
Other happenings during WinterFest include a President’s Open House, karaoke, cookie decorating, Stuff-a-Plush, bowling, billiards, airbrush tattoos and ice skating. A tree lighting ceremony also includes complimentary chili, corn bread and hot chocolate.
