While it may feel far off, preparations for the April 8, 2024 total solar eclipse are well underway. For instance, at Arkansas Tech University, they’ve established and published their campus procedures related to the eclipse. Classes and operations will move to virtual from April 5-9, while identified essential personnel will report to campus to accommodate students and visitors.
The university is working with local officials as they anticipate an influx of eclipse visitors. Plus, on-campus events related to the eclipse are in the works.
