Artificial intelligence (AI) programs are a big push on today’s campuses. And, at Miami Dade College’s (FL) School of Engineering and Technology, they’re launching three new AI programs, becoming the first U.S. institution to offer an associate degree in science in applied AI. Students will learn about ethical considerations, lifecycle management, machine learning, data collection and much more. Two new AI awareness certificates will also be available to help students in any field understand AI concepts and applications.
Development of the program is designed to help prepare students to fill rising AI demands in the workplace, such as becoming AI developers or specialists, reported Miami Today. Scholarships will be made available for all new AI courses at Miami Dade.
