At Temple University (PA), a newly formed Health and Well-Being division was formed, pulling Student Health Services, Employee Health Services, Counseling Services and the Wellness Resource Center together under one umbrella. One standout is the Resiliency Resource Center that is available both in-person and virtually.
The Center helps Temple students who are in therapy and those who are new to counseling services to build on skills they’ve started developing during individual or group therapy sessions, reported Temple Now. Resources include:
- Workbooks
- Mediation and relaxation exercises
- Online materials such as Headspace, MUSE and VIA Character Strengths
- Biofeedback
- Bright light therapy
- And more
Undergraduate psychology interns staff the Resiliency Resource Center to help students best use the available materials. It’s located in Counseling Services and open from 10-4 pm Monday through Friday. Students wishing to access Center resources either complete an initial consultation or contact a counseling clinician.
